A safe place for thoughts?

Is this finally a solution to my logging problems? I sure hope so. At least it's a place to keep files, away from accidental deletion or loss.

Why is this paragraph a different color in LaGrange?

In the past I've tried many note-taking methods, but in the end I always wind up with text files. More recently, markdown files. If I keep more than one file, managing files becomes a problem.

Every attempt at keeping separate topical files (projects, etc) leads to confusion, loss of files, trying to remember which file I made notes about what, etc. It's a mess.

I may prefer weekly files for better searchability - or even monthly files.

When I was in my twenties, I was so sure that I would find a solution to this problem soon. Ah, to be so naive...
